They will acknowledge the subtle yet profound impact of overlooking certain days, such as Saturday and Sunday, on personal growth and proactive living. - Examine: Participants will delve into the relationship between their current mindset towards time and its effects on personal and professional potential. They will reflect on how the introduction of the revolutionary concept of the nine-day week™ challenges their existing beliefs about time management and productivity. - Implement: Participants will design and apply practical strategies, such as reassessing priorities and embracing the concept of 'One day' and 'Someday', to take control of their personal and professional narratives. They will learn how to utilize interactive discussions and practical exercises provided by Keisha to break free from comfort zones and transform abstract aspirations into tangible achievements. - Weigh: Participants will assess the gap between their current time management practices and their aspirational goals.
This session will take a deep dive into channeling one's “Queen” mentality. As when a Black woman walks through this world in confidence and stands within her power, she then becomes an unstoppable force and the Queen she was born to be. Join us as we connect with women that embody that Queen persona and learn how that mentality creates successful avenues within their lives.

The modern workplace is a mosaic of individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with unique personalities and communication styles. This diversity can pose challenges in effective communication and in finding and owning one's voice. For women leaders, there's an additional expectation to remain gentle, non-aggressive, and cooperative. Suppressing one's voice can impact both professional success and personal well-being, affecting mental health. How, then, do we distinguish and amplify our voices in a crowded space to make a mark?
This session will explore the inequities within the healthcare system and strategies Black women can employ to navigate these challenges and avoid becoming mere statistics. It will cover crucial topics such as advocacy, support needs, and health issues specific to Black women like fertility, fibroids, and menopause. The discussion will also touch on maintaining vitality and allure after 40.

As a proud native of Trinidad and Tobago, Shaw's journey in the fashion world began at the tender age of 14, navigating through challenges of discrimination during an era when the presence of black models was egregiously overlooked. Fueled by her own experiences and a burning desire to reshape the narrative, Shaw established STRUT in 2013, recognizing a glaring gap in the industry's representation.
Starting as a modest modeling school, Shaw's unwavering commitment to inclusivity and empowerment has since transformed STRUT into a formidable force, rivaling even the city's largest agencies.
Central to Shaw's ethos is her dedication to fostering diversity and providing a platform for models from all walks of life. With an all-female team, STRUT proudly represents a diverse array of talent, amplifying voices that have long been marginalized within the fashion landscape.
Beyond her role as CEO, Shaw is a devoted mother to her son and a connoisseur of culinary delights. As an avid learner, she constantly immerses herself in literature, particularly in business, self-improvement, and memoirs, through audiobooks. Shaw's leadership extends beyond the confines of her agency. Through initiatives like her STRUT-Esteem program, she actively gives back to the community, enriching the lives of youths in schools and community centers. Committed to leaving an indelible mark on the fashion industry, Shaw continually seeks to refine her leadership skills, she is an alum of the prestigious Goldman Sachs 10kSB program.
As the sole black woman holding an executive position in a New York City modeling agency, Shaw is not only breaking barriers but shattering them. Through STRUT Models, she is revolutionizing the industry from within, creating a safe and inclusive environment while ensuring excellence remains at the forefront of everything she does. With Shaw Bernard leading the charge, STRUT Models stands as a beacon of inspiration, illuminating a path toward a more equitable and representative fashion future.

Tricia M. Taitt
CEO
FinCore
After spending eight years on Wall Street as an equity markets sales specialist and corporate finance manager at industry powerhouses such as Merrill Lynch and Citigroup, I realized that my core finance and accounting skills were highly transferable to small to mid-sized businesses, which is where I could make a bigger and more personally rewarding impact.
With this inspiration, I started offering financial consulting services and officially formed FinCore in 2016 and in 2022, published a book about small business financial management entitled, Dancing with Numbers: Grow a financially healthy business and choreograph your life. (Available on Amazon).
FinCore offers outsourced CFO and accounting services, a financial planning platform for women entrepreneurs and digital financial tools accessible on demand. We know that dealing with numbers can be overwhelming. Sometimes you’d rather hide from your numbers than admit you don’t know what you don’t know. Finding the right trusted partner that can truly help you feel financially secure can be like searching for a needle in a haystack. It’s even harder, almost impossible, to find a financial expert that explains things in plain English instead of using all the jargon. Well, look no further than FinCore!
Whether you make $500,000 or $10 million in revenue, we help growth-minded small business owners, humble enough to ask for help, be in tempo with their numbers, avoid financial pitfalls, and make critical business decisions.
